A media company
built on story, memory, and the audacity to create legacy.

who we are
Irerê Productions is a New York-based media company founded by award-winning filmmaker and cultural storyteller Isabela Adão.
Named to honor the legacy of Narcisa Adão — a woman of precision, joy, and quiet power — Irerê Productions exists to tell the stories that outlast the moment. Stories rooted in diaspora, identity, and the full complexity of human experience. Stories that don’t ask permission to take up space.
We create across film, podcast, brand partnerships, and emerging formats — always led by authorship, always built for depth.
What We Make

Narrative and documentary work that centers emotional truth and cultural specificity.
From cellphone films to festival features,
we make cinema that moves.

Podcast Pretas em NY — long-form conversations at the intersection of Blackness, womanhood, and life in New York City.

Strategic collaborations with brands whose values align with our audience and editorial vision. We don’t just post — we integrate, translate, and storytell.

Brand Work
Strategic collaborations with brands whose values align with our audience and editorial vision. We don’t just post — we integrate, translate, and storytell.
Our vision
Irerê Productions was born from a simple belief: that the stories closest to us — the ones carried in language, in memory, in the faces of the people who made us — are the ones most worth telling.
We create slowly and intentionally, because legacy is not built in a rush. Every project we take on carries the weight of where we come from and the hope of where we are going.
We are in early chapters. And we are building with love.
